3 Project Abstract Image Capture System
This project will utilize a proximity sensor/switch to sense an object traveling along a conveyor system. The pulse generated from the detecting the object will trigger a strobe light and a camera simultaneously. An image of the object will then be captured, displayed, and stored in memory on a pc. The strobe is utilized to ensure that the same light level will be maintained regardless of environmental light conditions. This project will be considered Phase 1 of a 2 phase project. Phase 2 would compare a stored image on the pc to the last captured image to determine any differences. Target industry: Manufacturing
