3 Strategically Placed Pakistan
Pakistan is placed in a very strategic position and can be used as a transit point for South East Asian countries Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan & Tajikistan via Afghanistan. Unfortunately due to on going law and order situation in Afghanistan the only safe route to South East Asian Countries is Iran.

Afghanistan being a land locked country, bordering Pakistan , Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan & Tajikistan. Majority of Afghan Government / Commercial, US Forces & Allied forces cargo is being transited via Pakistan, due to short transit time and cheap transportation.

6 Land Route to Afghanistan
There are 2 Land routes by road transportation from Pakistan to Afghanistan. Route # 1 Karachi to Quetta via Chaman, Pak - Afghan border and to Kandahar Afghanistan. Route # 2 Karachi to Peshawar via Torkham, Pak –Afghan border to Jalalabad & Kabul.

Clearance Time at Karachi Sea Port Minimum (2/3) Two / Three Days. Maximum (3/4) Three / Four Days. Transportation Time up to Delivery at Pak-Afghan Border Torkham :- Minimum (3-4) Three / Four Day’s. Maximum (4-5) Four / Five Day’s. Transit Clearance Time at Pak-Afghan Border Minimum (1) One Day.

16 Current NATO & US Cargo Route
Due to ongoing blockade of NATO and US Forces Cargo by a political party in Peshawar Pakistan following route is being used.

17 Current Land Route for Nato /UN & US Forces cargo to Afghanistan.

18 Different Documentation Required for Commercial / Government and for Armed Forces active in Afghanistan As per PAK- AFGHAN government regulations there are different requirements for Afghan Commercial Cargo, and Afghan Government Cargo. All UN/US Army/ NATO & the Allied forces cargo needs different documentation which are to be endorsed by the concerned country Embassy or Consulate for moving them from Pakistan to Afghanistan.

24 Afghanistan Retrograde & Repatriation.
Transbridge Logistics Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., As per the agreement all the forces in Afghanistan will pull out by the end of year 2014, hence all their equipment will be shipped back to their countries respectively, and this will be huge volume of cargo to various destinations. Transbridge having the capacity and ability to move this cargo from site to Karachi port and load it on vessel’s for its onward journey to final destination, using the route which winds through dangerous mountain territory in Afghanistan & Pakistan, which runs from Torkham & Spin Boldak Gate at the Afghanistan-Pakistan border down to the port in Karachi in Pakistan.

25 Egress Preparation Services In Afghanistan & Pakistan
The advance “Prepping” and reset of cargo at military facilities throughout Afghanistan will be the most time consuming, exacting and important component of the retrograde mission. It will include disassembling, sanitizing, crating, loading & securing of equipment for various modes of transport. This will be done in coordination with uniformed Coalition Forces personnel. We have been preparing for this during the past year. Our services are as follows.

dispatch to the US and EU. Obtaining Phytosanitary Certificates for outbound cargo from Afghanistan. Crating, Lashing & Dunnage of government cargo and military vehicles in Afghanistan. Dismantling, Repackaging, Palletizing and dispatch of sensitive vehicle spare parts. Inspection monitoring services in Pakistan. Export customs formalities in Afghanistan (Export T1 & Mafi Nama).Exemption Certificate. Tax Exemption processing for the export of “undocumented cargo” in Afghanistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan trucking and line haul services. Provision of transportation plans and dispatch of cargo from Afghanistan to UAE, EU, UK & USA.

27 Retrograde Trucking Services.
During the latter half of 2013, The TBL team pioneered the first southbound movements of retrograde military cargo from Afghanistan via the Reverse Chaman routing. We structured and implemented this line of communication from scratch. Our groundwork has proven a success. We offer the following services around this egress option. In PAKISTAN. Trucking of military equipment (Rolling Stock, Break Bulk & Containerized) from various points thru Pak - Afghan border. Organizing security and customs escorts in Pakistani regions. Arranging all transit customs formalities in Pakistan. Organizing transportation plans for onward forwarding to UAE, EU, UK & USA. Washing & rinsing of equipment in Pakistan. Lashing & securing equipment on vessel platforms.
