1 Art In public transit n.y.c

2 My research paper will focus on the Art in Public transit
My research paper will focus on the Art in Public transit. Since the 1st day that I arrived in the city I now realize that I never really took a moment to think or appreciate the art in the subway stations. Most of the time we just pass by it because of the rush to get to work, school, etc. or we notice it but we don’t know the meaning behind a certain piece. Therefore, I want to focus on demonstrating how and why also the Art in transit is interesting. The way every piece at such station symbolizes history or different messages relating to everyday life…

3 What I want to do I find art in transit as an interesting topic to talk about due to the fact that most individuals in New York often depend on public transportation, but we never pay much attention to the art that surrounds or the artist's effort for their piece to display, which is why I want to consider and create something related to this topic for others to think about ..

5 Since I will focus on The art that is often ignored on subway stations, I am including myself as an individual that does not pay much attention to the art on the subway stations. And here are reasons why

6 I will also need to consider some questions for my topic..

7 Examples of art in transit that are interesting and I never stop to think about :
Artist Robbie Rosenfeld displays her artwork, 16 Windows, on New lots Avenue in Brooklyn. She uses glass to depict the lives unseen through windows but behind the blinds, engage in common, day to day activities that we all can relate to, from watering plants to watching TV, eating breakfast to cooking dinner, before and after the commute.

11 Another example is Artist: Lilian Porter, who displays her artwork, Alice: the way out, on 5oth st near the exits Her work features “Alice in wonderland” characters: the queen of hears, Alice, the rabbit, and the mad hatter. Which I found interesting because I never notice it. It is also interesting because Alice in wonderland relates to Time, rushing, and being lost into finding a way out. Which can connect to a subway ride
