18 The exam The longest question you will get in AS Psychology is a 12 mark question, and 16 marks at A level. To achieve a level 4 answer you would need to address both skills being assessed, for example: Description (AO1) and Evaluation (AO3) How you structure your answer depends on whether you have been asked to describe and evaluate one or two theories/studies. Put this in separate notes on exam technique – Create your own hand out for this using A4 that you can use throughout the course
