2 Bellwork – 1 de Agosto 1. Write out the following word using the sounds below: E, ese, pe, a, eñe, o, ele 2. Translate: Today is the 10th of May 3. Translate: Today is Tuesday. 4. Translate: How are you doing, Mr. Dolan 5. Translate: Very Well.

3 Procedures Completed HW goes in the bins on top of the bookshelf. They are marked by the hour on the right side of the bins. Graded Homework is placed on the bin in the shelf. This is also divided by hour of the day. Reminder, Bathroom passes are limited to 3 per semester.

4 Housekeeping We need to make sure and pick up after ourselves or we are going to have to stay and pick up trash at the end of class. Please turn in Homework if you haven’t done so. I have a lot of zeroes in the gradebook because assignments have not been turned in.

5 Classroom Commands When you are in a Spanish class it is important to know the Spanish commands that a teacher will say to you. Just like in an English speaking class, you will be told to take out your homework, you will be told to get out your notebook, or to sit in your seat.

Siéntense/Tomen asiento (Sit down) Levanten la mano (raise your hand) Hablen en pareja (speak in partners/pairs) Pónganse de pie (stand up)

9 Important Questions You Need to Ask in Class

11 Classwork – On the left side
Hablen en pareja and write down both of your phone numbers and your birthday’s in Spanish. This will go on your left side of your notes. Spell out: E, ene, ce, a, ene, te, a, de, o Then write down it’s meaning in English
