The most common animals in Africa are, Giraffes, Elephants, Cheetahs, Zebra’s, Reptiles and many More!

3 When a Cheetah gives birth 80% of the cubs don’t survive.
Cheetah’s Cheetah’s are the fastest land mammals in the world . And reach speeds of km/h. Cheetah’s are often killed by Lion’s and Hyena’s. When a Cheetah gives birth 80% of the cubs don’t survive.

4 Zebras eat over 50 different species of grass!
Did you know? Zebras eat over 50 different species of grass! Zebra’s Zebra’s have their own Individual pattern, just like a human finger print. Zebra’s are related horses , so when they give birth the babies are called foal. Zebra’s mostly eat bark ,grass and leaves.

5 Giraffes Giraffes are the tallest of all mammals. They use their long necks to eat leaves from tree’s. Each Giraffe has it’s own unique pattern. And has 2 horns at the top of it’s head.

6 Antelope park Antelope park is one of Zimbabwe’s popular travel destinations, after Victoria falls. It is set in over 3000 acres of grass land in Zimbabwe. There you get to walk with Lions , ride through the wilderness of Elephants and Horses back’s and much , much more !!!!!

7 Elephants spend 16 hours of the day eating!
Elephants Elephants are very delicate mammals. They can live up to the age of 70.In Africa the temperature can reach up to 45 degrees and more in the summer time , so they use their trunks to keep them cool. Did you know ? Elephants spend 16 hours of the day eating!

8 Lions can live up to 12-16 years in the wild and 25 in captivity!
Lions are the largest cats in the world. They can weigh up to kg . As carnivores, Lions eat the flesh of other mammals. Lions can have up to more than 30 teeth. Lions are nocturnal and are reputed to sleep for at least 20 hours day. Did you know ? Lions can live up to years in the wild and 25 in captivity!
