2. ESSI -European Support to Social Innovation
Key elements:
Lack of targeted and transversal strategy in respect of SI and its contribution to economy, citizenship, employment, social inclusion and territorial development
Public Authorities and governments (at regional, city/urban and local level) finally demonstrate an interest in designing and implementing targeted and transversal policies even improving their S3 and ESI OPs
It will involve the effective and committed KEY PLAYERS Public Authorities Economic, Welfare, Employment ad Education Sectors (Regional Government Departments, MA, Cities), Actors of Development (RDA) and Stakeholders (Third Sector, social economy enterprises and Associations, Universities, For profit companies)
Regional Development Agencies as catalysts of policies and services design

To make your project idea understandable for the public it would be good if you explain the origin of the idea. What problem you want to solve? What is the opportunity identified?
Describe also very briefly the profile of your organisation to indicate to potential partners should know your capabilities in advance.

3. Main activities and results
Peer review on actual and potential innovative policies and services in order to upgrade public and private actors, profit and no-profit companies, managers and social innovators
Workshops with policy makers and stakeholders in order to develop potential strategies and actions to be adopted or modifying their policy instruments for development (eg ESI Ops, S3, regional and local polices, targeted training actions for public servants and social innovation enterprises or initiatives)
Capacity Building on innovative practices
Finalization of innovative targeted policy proposals
Results
Mapping of existing innovative policies and services
Upgrading of public and private actors on social innovation practices
Training of practitioners and of social economy operators
Proposal for the realization of integrated targeted policies and actions able to facilitate the growth and qualification of social innovation experiences on our territories, and generative processes of social innovation enterprise
