7 TOUR ITINERARY June 10 Overnight Flight to Rome Sunday
June 11 Ancient Rome Sightseeing Monday Welcome to Rome! Get a glimpse of ancient Roman life during a guided tour of landmarks, including the Colosseum. Follow in the footsteps of ancient Roman gladiators during a visit to a Gladiator School, followed by a welcome dinner. June 12 Holy Rome Sightseeing Tuesday Explore the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest and most spectacular basilica in Italy. Get a glimpse of what life is like for the small group of soldiers entrusted with guarding the Pope during a private tour of the Pontifical Swiss Guard Barracks. Discover the Castel Sant’Angelo, once a mausoleum converted into a Papal fortress in the 6th century. June 13 Roma Bowl Game Day 1 & Catacombs Wednesday Square off against your American and international competitors for the first day of the Roma Bowl tournament. Afterward, descend into the Capuchin Crypt, Domitilla Catacombs and Basilica of San Clemente’s underground to visit the Eternal City’s spectacularly decorative burial chambers. Later, journey upon the Appian Way, an ancient road that served as Europe’s first super highway. June 14 Jesuit Rome & Community Service Project Thursday Begin a guided tour of important Jesuit sites in Rome at the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola, built in Visit the Pantheon and Piazza Navona then continue on to the Church of the Gesú, where St. Ignatius of Loyola founded the Jesuit order. Later, participate in a Caritas community service project. June 15 Roma Bowl Game Day 2 & Youth Clinic Friday Share your football knowledge at a youth and coaches clinic before taking the field for the second day of the Roma Bowl tournament. Later, experience the Trevi Fountain, the largest Baroque fountain in the city, before climbing the famed Spanish Steps. June 16 Castel Gondolfo Saturday Begin the day with a private Mass at St. Peter’s Crypt Chapel before heading out on an excursion to Castel Gandolfo, which houses a 17th-century palace that has served as a Papal summer residence for centuries. In the evening, celebrate your achievements and reflect on your Roma Bowl experience during a Farewell Awards Dinner. June 17 Return to USA Sunday Note: Itinerary is based upon proposed tour dates and activities are subject to change based upon final confirmations.

Alumni & Supporters - cheer on your teams, in the Eternal City School Administrators & Faculty - expand your own horizons and knowledge Italian teams will join in the action, as well as other European teams invited
