Simple verb (what we learned last week) Verb: talk Present: I talk. Past: I talked. Future: I will talk.

Perfect verb (this is means the action has already happened) You always use the past tense form Verb: talk Present: I had talked. Past: I will have talked. Future: I will have talked.

Perfect verb tense again means that the action has already happened. In present perfect- add has or have in front of the verb In past perfect-add had in front of the verb In future perfect- add will have in front of the verb
