2 Travel Arrangements Meet in P7 class at 8.45am on Monday Bus leaves school at 9.00am Arrive at Lockerbie 11.00am Depart Lockerbie at 1pm on Friday Arrive back at school at approx 3pm No food or drink on bus.

4 Lockerbie Activities We will have the opportunity to participate in lots of different activity sessions to complete during our time at Lockerbie These can include; High ropes, Scavenger Hunt, Camp Craft, Rifle Shooting, Canoe, Climbing, Mountain Biking, Fencing, Paddle Boarding, Raft Building, Zip Wire, Orienteering, Volleyball, Obstacle Course, Survival Skills, Disco and Crate Stacking

5 Clothing Involve children in packing Wear P7 hoodie to travel to and from Lockerbie Clothing for activities:-  Old clothes and trainers  Warm and loose-fitting – NOT JEANS, NO WELLIES  Waterproof jacket  Gloves/hat/socks  Extra warm tops/jumpers would be useful for this time of year Clothing for around the centre:-  Comfortable and warm  Indoor footwear  Nightwear All items labelled Remember underwear A plastic bag would be useful for dirty/wet clothing

6 Toiletries / Additional Items Toiletries - toothpaste/ toothbrush/soap Towels Plastic bags Antibacterial wipes Water bottle Personal belongings – please name on label Spending Money – max £10 – in an envelope, purse or wallet with your name

7 Meals Wide variety of hot cooked meals during the week (see menus overleaf) Special diet or allergies will be catered for Daily snack – Please place in plastic bag and label with child’s name Tuck Shop available if needed – Please ensure your child knows how much they can spend.

11 Dorms Dormitories – groups between 4 - 8 Children responsible for keeping tidy Daily inspections Lights out by 9pm Shower daily – morning or evening. Children will set up a rota but showers will be available for children at all times. Remember PILLOW, SLEEPING BAG or Duvet

12 Medication / Allergies Medical information form to be completed Medication should be labelled clearly  Dosage  Time to be taken  Name  School staff to administer Medication to be given to staff on Monday morning Inform staff of any allergies

13 Contact The school will contact Parents/Carers after 11am on Monday to let you know we have arrived safely. Contact the school on Friday after 1pm to check our estimated arrival time back to school.

14 Contact If you need to speak to your child urgently then you can contact the school and they can get in contact with class teacher. Mr Garnham will have all Primary 7 contact details at home if anything happens overnight then we will contact you at home. There is daily communication from Lockerbie to school via class teacher.

15 Important: Medicines, money and snacks labelled and given to a staff member No electrical equipment No mobile phones
