3 “Civil Identity” * ‘Civil identity’ is a Social Psychology term - describing a collective of an individual’s features (may be identified by a national government) concerning an individual’s present ethnicity, political party membership, race and color, religious membership, disability/ handicap, age group/ generation, (proper) sexual orientation and marital status. 1 - Introduction to Social Psychology
