Facts about unbelievers

lust of the eyes; lusts of the flesh; and the boastful pride of life.

A quest for happiness, not truth.

Q. What is proof of these statements just made here? A. Gods wrath against sin.

Romans 1:18-20 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 18 1920

One of atheists strong arguments is that why do I need Religion or a God in my life? I am a good person; I have good morals, good values.

Unbelievers suppress the truth; Men love darkness rather than light. John 3;19-21

Therefore an atheist will argue against Religion, or against Christians. They sometimes ask…

Q. Do morally good people go to hell if they do not know Jesus?

A. First of all there is no such thing as a morally good person. What does good mean?; who decides what good is and isn't?

The truth is, that we are all sinners, we are all falling. But once again; people suppress the truth about sin. If people suppress the truth, who do you really suppress? GOD!

An atheist asks? Will GOD send me to hell if I do not believe in Jesus.

The answer is no! You don’t go to hell because you don’t believe in Jesus.

No you go to hell because you have sinned. Lets look at this another way…

Q. Do you die because you didn’t go to the Doctor? A. No. You die because you have a sickness.

In this case what separates a dying person to decide if they want to see a physician or not? A choice to live or not.

And God give us that same choice. To live or die

What does this mean? To live is to be with God. To die is to be separate from God.

Q. What separates us from God? A. Sin does

By the way; does God expect us to save everyone in this world, and lead them to Christ Jesus?

Do you know that GOD has ordained the world. This means that GOD pre- determines our lives; HE determines places and times

Acts 17: 26-27 26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: 2627

Does God expect everyone to get saved? No. But those who really want to know God in their life, God will send them a messenger, or put them in the right place, at the right time to hear the Gospel.

St Augustine; “If you believe what you like in the Gospel, and reject what you don’t like, it is not the Gospel that you believe, but yourself.”

Saint Augustine around 400AD A Latin Father of the church and well known as one of the Doctors of the church

Pascal; “People almost invariably arrive at their beliefs not on the basis of proof but on the basis of what they find attractive.”

Saint Augustine around 1600’s AD Blaise Pascal was a French mathematician, physicist, inventor, writer and Christian philosopher.
