1. Londýn 2008 Trip – Adela Koubova

2. At the beginning of 2008 year I visited (with my family) the beautiful city of London. It was my second visit. This trip was again about sightseeing, visiting famous monuments and I got familiar with various mysterious English corners (bars, restaurants...).

3. We were staying near Oxford Street, one of the most famous commercial street of the world so even I had the possibility to walk through this street although not the whole one.

4. Immediately after my arrival I got on the London underground train and was going for about one hour. The first sight I could see was the Buckingham Palace. That day it was raining and so I wasn´t surprised that there was almost nobody else except for me near the palace. Our way continued towards the Westminster Abbey we properly investigated.

5. Afterwards our eyes could see the symbol of London - the Big Ben. This tower clock was just striking and we could enjoy the beautiful harmony which was sounding all over the whole London. Then our way continued to the London Eye. It was just enough to buy tickets, to abide the queue and let ourselves hang in the air over London...

6. The following days we were reaching more and more interesting places deep in the heart of London. We visited Trafalgar Square where we liked the huge lions so much that we couldn´t help jumping on them and taking pictures. Round the corner of the Trafalgar Square we passed the Chinese Town Soho and we came to the statue of Eros in the center of London. There was also a lot of cinemas, theaters and plenty of advertising of all the various goodies.

7. The next days we were enjoying a one-hour boating on the Thames river.

8. We also visited the famous Tower Bridge and Zero Meridian where we were feeding naughty squirrels jumping all over there. Sadly but full of new adventurous experiences we were leaving this beautiful place. We are sure to return to this magical city again…
