10 100 million sharks are killed every year to feed growing demand in China for shark fin soup. The No Shark Fin Project has mobilized students from Beijing and all over China to reduce shark consumption by collecting individual pledges and stopping restaurants from serving Shark Fin Soup.

11 Wetlands are the highest in polluted waterways. Yet as the earth’s “kidneys”, humans need them in order to survive. The Clear Water Project trains students to find solutions to protect their local wetlands through mapping out ecological changes.

12 The ‘ Guardians of the Elephants’ project started in 2014, raising awareness about elephants, elephant conservation and the cruelty and damaging impact of the ivory trade.

13 Many schools also choose to look at their own local issues such as how to save resources and reduce consumption in the school, how to ensure a safe and healthy environment, etc Reduce – Reuse - Recycle
