What do we believe by true faith? Everything taught to us in the gospel. The Apostles’ Creed expresses what we believe in these words: We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting

“Descended into hell" The word "hell" used in the Apostles Creed is "hades" -- not "gehenna" -- the place of eternal torment and retribution. Hades is the state in which all the dead exist, the place (state) of departed souls: In the New Testament a descent to Hades may simply refer to someone's death and disembodied existence. Peter interprets the resurrection as God delivering Jesus from Hades. In Greek word, Gehenna "Hell, place of fiery torment for the dead, “a place of punishment for evil.

“The holy Catholic church” "catholic", it meant "universal" - One Body of Christ church.

How and why did God create us? So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.(Genesis 1:27) “All things were created by him and for him.” (Colossians 1:16 )Colossians 1:16 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. (Revelation 4:11)Revelation 4:11

How do we glorify God? Video 6 “If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 4:11) “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols” (Isaiah 42:8).

Glorifying Definition: “Glorifying” means feeling and thinking and acting in ways that reflect his greatness, that make much of God, that give evidence of the supreme greatness of all his attributes and the all-satisfying beauty of his manifold perfections. –John Piper-
