Communications and marketing is dedicated to promote and strengthen your organization and brand. Communications main function is to: –Promote services via multiple channels: advertising, media relations, outgoing communication and social media.

All they can say is, “No.” People love seeing themselves in print and on the web. And they love sharing their own successes.

Get to know your local media Develop a relationship with your local media You don’t always have to call them with a pitch. Know the different sections of your newspaper and different segments of your TV stations. Pitch your stories accordingly and to the right reporters for an opportunity of coverage.

Media Preparation What’s your headline? - What is the No. 1 thing you want your audience to know and frame your message around that piece of information. - Support you information with comparable numbers and statistics.
