Minimum functional requirements: GIS applications must allow for capturing, storing, analyzing and/or managing data and associated attributes that are spatially referenced. Remote sensing applications RS applications are end-user applications with functionality specific to the Remote Sensing / Earth observation realm. Minimum functional requirements: an RS application must be able to create and edit geospatial raster data. Applying modelling techniques to raster data is an asset.
