1. Peace And joy forever September 4, 2016 Memory verse: "The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him"( Isaiah 11:2) Have children paste pictures from a magazine, in a circle ( representing the world) of things that make them happy.

2. God's mountain September 11, 2016 Memory verse: "this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us" (Isaiah 25:9) Have the children make a scroll telling of Jesus return.

3. God's in control September 18, 2016 Memory verse: "From everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalm 90:2) Let children count and color the stars. Explain that each is different but God knows them all.

4. God's forever promise September 25, 2016 Memory verse: " [God said] I will make an everlasting covenant with them" (Isaiah 61:8) Have the children trace and cut out both their hands. Have them exchange one hand with another student and glue together. (Make a promise of friendship.)

5. Jesus Guides us October 2, 2016 Memory verse: "[Jesus is] The brightness of his glory" ( Hebrews 1:3) Have a discussion with the children about all the ways Guide Dogs help to assist and how it is similar to the way Jesus guides us. Let children color in the picture.

6. The builder of the house October 9, 2016 Memory verse: "He that built all things is God" (Hebrews 3:4) Let the children build a house out of blocks and/or Legos. Make sure they understand they need a strong foundation.

7. Jesus is the best leader October 16, 2016 Memory verse: "He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Hebrews 5:9) Use pictures of Jesus and our president to compare and explain leadership o the children. You may also choose to allow the children to color the pictures.

8. A helper for all time October 23, 2016 Memory verse: "[Jesus] is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him" (Hebrew 7:25) Show the children different pictures allowing them to identify similarities and differences.

9. Be like Jesus October 30, 2016 Memory verse:"[God disciplines us] for our profit" (Hebrew 12:10) Give the students different scenarios and let them tell you what the consequence should be. Ex…. John told a lie to his Mom…… Spanking, time out, no TV time, no dessert etc…

10. What's new November 6, 2016 Memory verse:"[God] makes all things new" (Revelation 21:5) Let the children tell you what new means, and how they feel when they get something new. You may also want to discuss the way new look and smell.

11. A beautiful new place November 13, 2016 Memory verse:"That Great city, the holy Jerusalem…(Revelation 21:10-11) Let the children draw and tell of what their perfect day would consist of.

12. River of life November 20, 2016 Memory verse: "He shewed me a pure river of water of life" (Revelation 22:1) Have the children glue a tree on a piece of construction paper. Let the children pick from pre-cut fruit what kind of tree they will make.

13. I am coming November 27, 2016 Memory verse: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end" (Revelation 22:13) Have a conversation with the student about the choices they make today and how those choices will affect tomorrow.
