Journey Training institute established in 2013 Declared Autonomous in April 2014 Declared as a District Level Training Institute for Sangli District under (STPEA). Declared West India RFO Training Centre by Department of Forest Education (GoI) Batch of 29 RFO from Maharashtra state completed 18 months Professional Course. Batch of 40 RFO from Gujrat state currently undergoing 18 months Professional Course.

Glimpses of Training Activities

Marching Ahead Academy has been declared as a District Level Training Institute for Sangli District under the State Training Policy (STP) and is proposed to be declared as a Regional Training Institute. Imperative to train Government departmental staff in various stages :- Induction, Refreshers and Special courses. It is envisaged to conduct Special Training Programs for the Corporate Sector, initially from the PSUs and line departments which often require clearances from the Forest Department particularly in case of FCA proposals. Special Management Skill oriented programs are also proposed with appropriate charges.
