2 Adding a link to an Internet Address To insert a link to an internet address, 1.Click “Insert” on the ribbon 2.Click on “Hyperlinks” in the “links” section 3. A window appears. 4. Select the box at the top that says “Existing file or Web Page”

11 Other Hyperlinks You can also link to new documents or email addresses, in the same way. Remember, the link only works in “Slide Show” view.

16 Hiding a Slide Sometimes you want a slide in your presentation, but don’t always want to show it to your audience. PowerPoint lets you “hide” a slide If you change your mind, you can make the slide reappear. The number of the hidden slide will appear in a box with a line through it.

17 Hiding a Slide 1.In Normal View, go to the Slide Panel on the left side. 2.Click on the “Slides” tab. 3.Right click on the slide you want to hide. 4.A drop down menu appears. 5.Click on “Hide Slide.”

18 How can you tell if a slide is hidden? If a slide is hidden, its number will appear in a box in the Slide Panel.

19 Making a Slide Reappear To make the slide return, just right click on it again, and click “Hide Slide” again. If you are presenting, and want the slide to appear, then right click, click “Go to Slide” and then click on the hidden slide (the number will have the box around it.

20 Making a Slide Reappear To make a hidden slide reappear: 1.Right click on the hidden slide in the slide panel. 2.Click on “Hide Slide from the drop down menu that appears.
