2 What is a blog? “Blog” refers to a “weblog,” which is an interactive online journal, in that an individual can post thoughts online and others can post responses.

3 Blogs vs. Websites for Home/School Communication Websites are simply informational, while blogs are interactive and connect both students and parents to daily learning.

4 I chose blogging because…

5 1.I needed to cover technology and content area standards. 2. Parents can help teach their children safe Internet practices.

7 3. Blogging extends daily learning through online activities and by equipping parents with the tools they need to further their children’s education.
