3. Step 1: Driver Installation 3

The drivers below should be installed in PC before start to install the Cub Multi-Programmer software:  dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe – For.Net framework that will let the program be executed  PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1.9.0.exe – For allowing the connection from the PC to the Multi-Programmer  AccessDatabaseEngine.exe – For installing Microsoft Access (if necessary) The Multi-Programmer currently only supports 2 Printers: Zebra GC420D, GC420T or DYMO: LabelWriter 450. 5. Step 1a:.Net Framework Driver Installation Important: if you have previously installed a Cub Sensor-Aid tool update program in your PC, you already have the driver “dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe”, so you don’t have to install it again 5

6. Step 1a:.Net Framework Driver Installation (continued) Click on driver “dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe” to extract the driver in order to start the installation 6

7. Step 1a:.Net Framework Driver Installation (continued) A license agreement message will pop-up. Click on Install (I). 7

8. Step 1a:.Net Framework Driver Installation (continued) Please wait as the installation might take several minutes 8

9. Step 1a:.Net Framework Driver Installation (continued) When the installation is completed this message will pop-up. Please click on Finish (F). 9

10. Step 1b: Multi-Programmer Connection Driver Installation Click on “PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1.9.0.exe” to install the USB driver. (Important: if you have previously installed a Cub Sensor-Aid tool update program in your PC, you already have this driver so you don’t have to install it again. If you have it in your PC, this message will pop-up. Click on Cancel) 10

11. Step 1b: Multi-Programmer Connection Driver Installation If you don’t have the “PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1.9.0.exe” driver, this installation window will pop-up. Click on Next (N) to install. This might take several seconds. 11

12. Step 1b: Multi-Programmer Connection Driver Installation (continued) After the installation is completed, this window will pop-up. Click on Finish. 12

13. Step 1c: Microsoft Access Driver Installation Click on “AccessDatabaseEngine.exe” to install the Microsoft Access Database Engine driver. (Important: Before installing this driver, please close all other Microsoft applications you might have open) The window below will pop-up. Click on Next. 13

18. Step 1d: Printer Driver Installation As mentioned before, the Multi-Programmer currently only supports 2 types of printers. Please click on the links below to go to the instructions based on the printer type you wish to use: Zebra Printer Zebra Printer DYMO Printer DYMO Printer 18

19. Step 1d: Zebra Printer General Information Zebra Printer Models supported: GC420D, GC420T Label size : 50 x (25+25)mm 19

20. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation Click on “Zd270316-certified.exe” to begin the extraction for the installation of the printer driver. The extraction window will pop-up. Click on Ok. 20

23. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation (continued) When the extraction is completed, the following window will pop-up. Click on Ok. 23

24. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation (continued) After extracting the files, a flashing icon will appear on your PC screen. Click on it and you will see the below screen. Please click on Next (N). 24

25. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation (continued) Click on the extracted printer driver file to install it. Click on Install (I) 25

26. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation (continued) Select your printer (for example, ZDesigner GK420t) and click on Next (N) 26

28. Step 1d: Zebra Printer Driver Installation (continued) Please leave the options “Zebra Font Download Setup Wizard” and “Zebra Status Monitor Setup Wizard” unclicked, and click on Finish (F). 28

31. Step 1d: DYMO Printer General Information DYMO Model supported: LabelWriter 450 Label size: SKU: SD11355, Size: 19 x 51 mm 31

32. Step 1d: DYMO Printer Driver Installation Click on “DLS8Setup.exe” to extract and install the DYMO label driver. Please start by choosing the installation language. 32

36. Step 1d: DYMO Printer Driver Installation (continued) Please wait for the installation to complete. This may take a couple of minutes 36

37. Step 1d: DYMO Printer Driver Installation (continued) When the installation is completed, this window will pop-up. Click on Finish. 37

38. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet 38

39. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet Please check your current software version. It should look similar to this: 39

40. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) To update the new software, choose the option “Internet Update” from the “Update” option in the menu (Important: make sure you are connected to the internet): 40

41. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) After choosing the “Internet Update” option, a message will pop-up with information of the newest software version available. Click on Ok to start downloading. 41

42. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) After the download is complete, a message will pop-up. Click on Ok. 42

43. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) Another message will pop-up, requesting you to restart the program. Click on Ok to do so. 43

44. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) Please wait while the program is updating. 44

45. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) The program will start automatically when the updating finishes. 45

46. Step 2: Firmware Update via Internet (continued) The program has now been successfully updated. 46

48. Step 3: Firmware Update via File If you already have the latest firmware version from your dealer, please save it on your desktop and choose the option “File Update” from the “Update” option in the menu. 48

49. Step 3: Firmware Update via File(continued) Choose the Firmware file from your desktop and click on Open (O). 49

50. Step 3: Firmware Update via File(continued) Finally, the program must be restarted again to update the firmware. Click on Ok. 50
