10 Substitution o Any player suspected of suffering a head injury may be substituted for evaluation without the substitution counting against the team’s total number of allowed substitutions during the game.

28 NEW Heading Policy o Applies to ALL USSF sanctioned games. o GMSA, MSSF, TNSOCCER State League, and tournaments at Mike Rose.

29 U11 Heading o When a player 10 years old and younger deliberately heads the ball o IFK awarded to opposing team from spot of the offense o If within goal area, IFK awarded on goal area line at the point nearest to where infringement occurred o If a player does not deliberately head the ball, then play should continue o Referee enforces by age group of match o But no heading applies to individual player

30 U11 Heading - Special If player 10 years old and younger deliberately heads the ball in attempt to deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity: o Ball enters goal without touching another player o Goal allowed and player is cautioned o Ball does not enter goal o Play is stopped and player is sent off o Restart - IFK if outside PA, Penalty Kick if inside o Referee does not apply advantage

52 Law 12 – Fouls & Misconduct Foul with contact is a direct FK Advantage for a RC – indirect FK if offender then gets involved in play Change of wording for handball so that not every handball is a YC Attempted violent conduct is a RC, even if no contact

53 Law 12 – Fouls & Misconduct Striking on head/face when not challenging an opponent is a RC Offence against substitutes, team officials, match officials etc. is now a direct FK Foul off the field penalized with a direct FK on boundary line (penalty in own penalty area) Some DOGSO offences in the penalty area are punished with a YCDOGSO
