2 What is a Strategic Innovation Agenda A document prpared by the actors of the innovation area, containing: Vision Aim Strategies Mål Must show how the area can meet global challenges

3 Why do we engage in this? Because we see an enormous potential and want to -Needs and opportunities -”Help” the Energy agency and Vinnova with priorities -Creat a basis for an appication on a ”Strategic Innovation Area” The Agenda should be ready on June 15 Arbetsmaterial – slutlig version av agendan kommer 15 juni

5 A definition of Smart Sustainable City A Smart Sustainable City is a city that meets the needs of its present inhabitants, -without compromising the ability for other people or future generations to meet their needs, and thus, does not exceed local or planetary environmental limitations, and -where this is supported by ICT Prel definition from Höjer and Wangel (forthcoming)

6 What is new/special? Create preconditions through: Starting out from global challenges connected to environment and energy Integrate strong actors within the SSC-area Arbetsmaterial – slutlig version av agendan kommer 15 juni

7 The Agenda’s activities - Integration Yearly conference for all actors – ideas for cooperation Innovation environments – SME:s Research activities/Calls – activiate universities Compatitions – activate creative citizens Living labs – experiments, demos… Arbetsmaterial – slutlig version av agendan kommer 15 juni
