5 The two main religious beliefs... There are two main religious beliefs about the afterlife: 1)The soul of the dead enters a new eternal state with God or eternal punishment. 2)The soul of the dead person is reborn or is reincarnated. But what do we mean by the soul?

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, all people have access to God in heaven. What has happened to Jesus will happen to all who have faith in Jesus – their soul will be resurrected and have eternal life.
