22 Reading strategies What is the main idea? When we read, sometimes we want to know every word in the reading and we immediately look at our dictionaries. But sometimes, we don’t have enough time to do that, so it is more important to focus on the main idea or the meaning of the reading. What is the main idea if the Matsuo Basho reading? Without telling your group the name of the movie, describe the main idea of the story of your favorite movie.

23 Reading In tonight’s reading, we will read about a famous soccer player and do some activities with the reading.
