In the story Washed Up! by Payal Kapadia, 3 families compete to see who can survive the longest on an island untouched by the human race. The Walpoles, a family of three, start at the beach. The Garcias, a family of two, start at the swamp. And the Luis, a family of four, start at the mountains. Will these families survive at the island? Or will a sudden coincidence change the contest? There is still one question. Who will win Washed Up!?
