2 Off-Highway Vehicle Defined  An “off-highway vehicle” is defined as any ATV, two-rider ATV or off highway motorcycle (OHM) that is used off the roads or highways of this state and that is not registered and licensed for highway use pursuant to Chapter 320, Florida Statutes.  An ATV is defined as any motorized off-highway or all- terrain vehicle 50 inches or less in width, having a dry weight of 900 pounds or less, designed to travel on three or more low-pressure tires, having a seat designed to be straddled by the operator and handlebars for steering control and intended for use by a single operator and with no passenger. All-terrain vehicle also includes any “two- rider ATV”  A “two-rider ATV” is any ATV that is specifically designed by the manufacturer for a single operator and one passenger. 3 OHV Park  Located off Route 29 on the Hendry/Collier County line  150 acres of open natural terrain 1.6 miles from gated entrance  Open to the public on scheduled weekends

4 Planned Amenities  Gated access road leading to park  Open to the public  Rangers on site  Portable toilets  Helicopter landing pad  Parking for vehicles and trailers  100-125 maximum vehicle capacity at any one time

6 ATV Rules and Regulations  Trails open when ground conditions permit on scheduled weekends  Only ATV’s allowed on the grounds  Max 100-125 vehicles allowed at any one time  Trails randomly monitored by park rangers  Must obtain permit prior to riding  Must sign waiver prior to riding (16 & 17 year olds must have waiver signed by a parent)  Under 16 must have waiver signed by a parent and must be accompanied at all times by someone over 18 years of age  DOT approved helmet and safety equipment required (boots, goggles, gloves)
