JAPANESE MACAQUE The habitat of the Japanese macaque is near the southern end of the population distribution, habitats include sub-tropical forest and at the northernmost reaches, sub-arctic forest is found in mountainous regions. The Macaque eats a typical monkey diet of leaves and shoots. They also eat seeds, roots, buds and fruit if they can get it. The Japanese Macaque does have a place in folklore and it is not a extinct animal.

PIKA Pikas prefer the colder climates and are generally found in mountainous regions and rocky areas where there tend to be fewer predators. The pika eats grasses, seeds, weeds, thistles and berries during the hours of daylight. The Pika is not a extinct animal.

THE WORLDS LARGEST HONET The Asian Giant Hornet is found throughout Eastern Asia in Korea, Taiwan, China, Indochina, Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, but they are most commonly found in the mountains of Japan. The Asian Giant Hornet is a dominant predator within it's environment, mainly hunting other insects, particularly Bees. Asian Giant Hornets are also commonly known to kill larger Insects such as Preying Mantises and even other Wasps and Hornets. The Honet is not a extinct animal.

GOBLIN SHARK Many have been caught off Honshu, Japan, at depths of 60-280 m. They live near the sea bottom in specific locations in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans. The Goblin Shark feeds on the same stuff as all Sharks this animal is not extinct.

BLASTOISE The Blastoise preferred habitat seems to be freshwater ponds and lakes. The Blastoise is probably extinct, the Blastoise was also made into a cartoon character from Pokémon.
