ACOMS (Article Contribution Management System) ACOMS is a free journal management system operated by KRF. About 200 journals use ACOMS including ACF Journal. Right of use is renewed on yearly basis by KRF. Case of ACF Journal -ACF Journal started using ACOMS in 2016: from V2N1 -It is a decent system but with limited chance for modification by Editorial Board, etc. ACF should develop its own article management system as the right of use may not be given after the Presidenceship of ACF by Korea expires. 5

V2N1 V2n1 was published in June 2016 (July 5, 2016) 8 technical papers were included in the inaugural issue: India (2), Japan (5), Korea (1). Some hardcopies will be printed and distributed among ACF member institutes as well as renounced concrete societies including ACI, fib, Rilem. Some hardcopies will also distributed to promote the ACF Journal during ACF 2016.

V2N2 Publication of V2N2 is scheduled in Dec. 2016. Status of V2N2 -Manuscript submission deadline is July. 31, 2016. -Only 2 manuscripts were received as of July 15: Mongolia (1), Vietnam (1) -1 more manuscript is expected to come from Vietnam. -1 invited paper is planned from Rilem (Prof. R. Gettu). -More manuscripts are expected by end of July, especially from author(s) of ACF 2016 conference papers. -Target is to print at least 5~6 technical papers. Data on manuscript submission and subsequent publication so far: -Indonesia 2 -India 2 -Japan 6 -Korea 3 -Malaysia 1 -Taiwan 1 Contributions are needed from all ACF member institutes 7

Others - 1 Future issues -Take advantage of the 7 th ACF International Conference to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in Oct.-Nov., 2016. -Take advantage of the 2 nd ACF Symposium to be held in Thailand in 2017. -Discussion was in progress with Vijay Kulkarni (Vice Editor-in-Chief of ACF Journal and SC Chairman of the 1 st ACF Symp.) on a special issue on (Ultra) High Performance Concrete if India can organize at least 5~6 papers. But there is no progress on this subject. 8

Others - 2 To have a consistent supply of technical papers for ACF Journal, it is important to achieve SCI, SCIE, EI journal status as soon as possible. But this is not easy. One practical objective can be to achieve KCI journal status (by KRF) in the near future: - At least 1 issue for 3 years - Publication policy includes exact publication dates. - At least 2 peer reviews per technical paper - Ethics of the journal publication exists - The journal is listed in KCI (Korea Citation Index) - Earliest possible application date: Mar. 2018 9
