16 Keys to Remember English Language Arts Includes Writing Includes Grades 3-10 ELL students included after 2 years* No Participation component for Acceleration (MS, HS) No more At-Risk or 5-year Graduation Component School Grade based on percentage of total points earned No extra weighting or school grade penalties Report grades for ALL levels at the same time *Florida Law, but ESEA waiver requires inclusion after 1 year

17 Keys to Remember Your school grade is not only a reflection of your school but Palm Beach County as a whole, you are included in the district’s grade. Schools that receive a D or F rating will not receive Capital Outlay monies. Statute requires satisfactory student achievement. New as of July 1, 2016, a second consecutive F is IMMEDIATE termination.
