3. What kind of friend are you? “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends”. John 15:13 “I call you friends, because I have told you everything I have learnt from my Father”. Are you this type of friend or a facebook friend? Do you share important and helpful information with your friends, or do you keep it to yourself? Do you use your friends to make you feel good (facebook friend), or are you really there for them? How far would you go for a friend? Get in trouble with them? Stand up for them if someone gossips against them? 1.Explain what sort of friend you are to others, with two examples of how you act as a friend. 2.Explain what sort of friend Jesus would be. Give an example or a quote to show this & explain it. (PEE) **What is wrong with being a facebook friend?

4. 1.Choose one piece of advice. Give an example of the type of situation they could be used for. 2.Choose another piece of advice. Explain how it would help someone to become a better person. **How else can Jesus help us as our friend, apart from giving advice? “If someone asks you do to or give something, give them what they want, generously” “love your neighbour as yourself” “Follow all the rules; but love is the most important. ” “do not worry about what tomorrow brings – God is looking after you one day at a time” “don’t judge others or pick out their faults – or God will judge you the same way.” “Love your enemies” “He who is faithful in little things, will be faithful in great.” We’ve got this situation/ difficulty… What sort of problem could Jesus’ advice be used for?
