3 Potential Impacts Tropical Storm Colin formed in the Gulf of Mexico near the Yucatan Peninsula 1.Flooding rain of 4”-6” Mon-Mon Night, isolated 8” River flooding possible Monday afternoon and persisting into Wednesday. Urban flooding around Tampa Bay. 2.Tropical Storm Wind possible in warned area Branches on roads, light structures damages 3.Above normal tides 1-3 ft Mon afternoon into Tues morning Flooding of low lying coastal/Bay roads 4.Moderate Risk for tornadoes Monday & Monday evening Promote: Do you know where you would hide if a tornado was headed toward you?

8 Coastal and Bay Flooding Potential Cedar Key to Hernando Beach 12 pm – 9 pm Monday 3 ft AGL @high tide (5 ft MSL on Tide Poles in Levy County) Hernando Beach to Longboat Key – High Rip Current Risk Barrier Islands: 2-3 ft AGL 10 am – 2 pm Monday Tampa Bay 3-4 ft AGL in Bay 12p-6p. Bayshore Blvd floods at 3.5 ft at high tide. Flooding along Alafia. Longboat Key to Englewood – High Rip Current Risk Barrier Islands 2 ft AGL 10 am – 3 pm Monday Charlotte Harbor 2-3 ft AGL 1 pm – 7 pm Monday 1 - 2 ft AGL Englewood south – High Rip Current Risk
