Biomedical  Pharmacology, chemotherapy (Drugs)  Anxiety-barbiturates, benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium)- work to depress central nervous system  Depression-(Prozac, Zoloft)- work with blocking Serotonin reuptake.  Bipolar-Lithium (manic phase)  Schizophrenia- Antipsychotics (neuroleptics: Haldol, Thorazine)-block production of dopamine at receptor sites.  Invasive Procedures  ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy): electrical current passed through the brain, can cause memory loss.
