3. CORE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR THE FILM A target audience is a group of people who are aimed (targeted) at because it is believed they are the most interested. Typical audience for my film will be people aged 15 – 40. Typically men who enjoy thriller about kidnapping, that are British crime films such as “Adulthood”. The themes of the film are crime, violence and kidnapping. Therefor anyone who has been involved in these things may enjoy the film and key/target audience. People who indulge in British Patriotism will also be key audiences. This is because it involves British themes, based in Britain and will be released in Britain. Also has a British cast, there the British will be able to relate.

4. TYPICAL AUDIENCE MEMBER This is Mark Matt. He is 17 years old and lives in a council estate in Manchester. He dressers just like every other teenager, skinny jeans and a plain top. He loves socialising with friends at events and playing football on the weekends. He shops in places like Topman, H & M, urban outfitters and Primark. When he watches films he loves nothing better than to watch films like Safe House, Shutter island, The wolf of wall street and Harry Potter. Mark will go to cinemas to watch films or rent them. TV shows he likes include Breaking Bad, EastEnders and Family guy. The main TV channels he watches include Comedy central, Film4, BBC 3, Channel 4 and Sky. He listens to musicians such as Biggie smalls, Pink Floyd, arctic monkeys and Beast Coast. Radio 1 is the radio station he listens to most. I believe Mark would like our film because he enjoys films like Shutter Island and Safe House, which are thrillers similar to ours.
