3. Project Description  This project is regarding the study of Innovation Statistics of a particular product.  The objective of the project is to measure innovation parameters for the product existing in the market.  The Product we are working on is Air-Purifiers. 3

Project Timeline  Project started on 27 th July.  1 st Week: Study of articles and research on innovation parameters.  2 nd Week: Evaluation of Innovation Parameters based on Inputs and Outputs of the company while catering to the customers.  3 rd Week: Surveys were made for Consumers and the companies along with a general Customer Benefit Package(CBP) 4

5. Project Timeline  4 th Week: Technical parameters of air filters were studied mainly focusing on the HEPA filters and systems that could caters to a classroom. A design was drafted focusing on the improvement of lifecycle of the filters.  5 th Week: Patents research for the major international companies to get an idea on the kind of patents acquired. Also a market research report was prepared stating pollution ranking for countries and economic parameters of each country. 5

6. The Way Ahead  Make a top 5 country list according to the Pollution Index and market capability for its sales.  List 3 large scale companies and 3 small scale companies and their best selling air purifies with pricing and other important specifications.  Get patents data for these companies/products.  Finalize the survey according to the data required and get the survey published.  Package the sample design made. 6
