4 The Task Force  A virtual group of CS10K community site power users  Formed to: ensure a community-driven experience Align the site’s information architecture with community needs Support requirements gathering Inform interaction design decisions  Four meetings: January – May 2016  Occasional written feedback in between meetings

6 CS10K Community Site: Mission, Vision, Values and Goals  Mission: Provide an online platform to support capacity building for NSF’s CS10K initiative  Vision: Where teachers of ECS and CSP can: Connect with each other and with the resources and expertise they need to excel Get answers to their burning questions Share their experiences Work together to develop materials and strategies they need to embrace powerful pedagogies Get students engaged with exciting technologies Make the case to potential students and to school leaders that computer science education is integral to preparing future leaders  Poll: In which of these areas could the community improve its efforts to realize this vision?

7 CS10K Community Site: Mission, Vision, Values and Goals  What do you view as the mission of the CS10K community website?  What is your vision for the community?  What values should the community reflect and promote (e.g., collaborative instructional resource and assessment development, broadening participation)?  Poll: What should be the primary goals of the community website (Choose 3)?

Is it appropriate to differentiate My Activity? If so, are these the rights personas /user types?
