2.  The purpose of this study is to determine the best way to deliver instruction to students. I want to find out if whole group instruction or small group instruction more effective. My goal is to find out which method is the most effective based on proven research and data so that I can provide the best possible education to my students.

4.  Variables could include but not limit to lack of prior knowledge, family home issues, lack of parental support, and lack intrinsic motivation.

5.  How do the students feel that they learn best?” . “Are small group instruction effective?”  “How do other educators feel about small group instruction?”

6.  The first step will be to decide which group of students will be involved in the study.  The second step will be to decide on a skill to teach and give a pre-assessment on that skill.  The third step will be the actual study.  The final step will be conducted after the study. The students will take a survey to inform of the best way in which they believe that they learn best. A survey will be also given to other teachers to see which method that they believe is the best method as well.

7.  The Data will be collected through pre and post assessment, teacher and student questionnaires, and as an active participant obsever.

8.  I will need to attain permission from the parents and the students to get their consent to participate in the study. I will definitely respect them and share only the results as they pertain to the benefit of the study. I will ensure them that this study is only for enhancing teaching practices.

9.  The students pre-test and post-test will be analyzed to determine who scored the best on the assessment.

10.  Is whole group or small group instruction more effective?  The timeline for the study is two weeks.  Pre/post test, teacher/student questionnaires, and active participant observations will be used as data collection tools.  The goal is to determine the best way to deliver instruction to students.
