3. HISTORY “In 19 th century after the commencement of industrial revolution companies took it as an obligation to foster social betterment, for doing this executives have to balance the interest of all the stakeholders. “

4. In broad aspect Social Responsibility include:- 1.Corporate philanthropy. 2.To earn the trust of stakeholders which would assist the efforts of organization to improve the well being of customers, employees, local communities, society and in whole the environment.

How company craft social responsibility strategies. 1.Make efforts to employ an ethical strategy and observe that ethical principles are operating in the business. 2.Making charitable contribution, donating money and the time of company personnel to community service endeavors, supporting various worthy organizational causes. Ex:- Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and McDonald.

6. 3.Action to protect or enhance the environment and, in particular, to minimize or eliminate any adverse impact on the environment stemming from the company’s own business activities. 4.
