2 Embracing & Passing On Our High Calling in Christ Some key qualities of a true servant of Christ: 1.Embrace our core identities as God’s child and servant 2.Do not need to stay in fear because we have been given God’s Spirit of power, love, and sound judgment 3.Will keep the passion for God burning strong 4.Not ashamed of the gospel or our suffering for it

4 Embracing & Passing On Our High Calling in Christ 1. God will guard what we have entrusted to Him! 2Tim. 1:12-14 12 That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. 13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. An “exchange of trust” between God and His people.

Confidence in the reality and faithfulness of Jesus Christ!

Are you willing to place your trust in Jesus and let Him guard all that is dear and precious to you? Your life in His hands is far safer and better than anywhere else!

The Good Deposit: the message and the mission of the Gospel of Jesus.

14 Embracing & Passing On Our High Calling in Christ 1. God will guard what we have entrusted to Him! Where do you find true security, satisfaction, and purpose for your life? Especially when the storms of life comes? Have you deposited them into the safe guardianship of Jesus? 2. Will we guard what God has entrusted to us? How are you doing in guarding what God has entrusted to you? Are you guarding it well or neglecting it? Will you commit to guard well His deposit of the gospel with the help of His Holy Spirit?
