2 Mythbusters/HSAP Edition Purpose of the presentation: The High School Apprenticeship Program has been around for a few years. Discussions indicate however, that there is some misinformation and some general confusion about certain aspects of the program.

6 The Facts A student can actually earn up to 8 credits towards high school graduation through the HSAP program. BONUS…ALL CREDITS ARE AT THE GRADE 12 LEVEL!!!!!

9 The Facts Although the best case scenario is to be apprenticed under a journeyperson, there are times that an employer with a lot of experience can apply to be a “designated trainer”. Designated trainers can train apprentices after indicating their experience and knowledge of a particular trade.
