4 2008 ECASLA Stafford Loan Limits (39167.85)  Increased the additional annual UNSUB amount for dependent and independent Undergraduates by $2,000 -- except for Undergraduates in a Teacher Certification program, for which the additional UNSUB amounts remain at $0 for dependent students and $7,000 for independent students.  Increased the lifetime limits:  Dependent undergraduates from $23,000 to $31,000  Independent undergraduates from $46,000 to $57,500.  Enforced the annual limit of $7,000 for additional UNSUB loans for independent undergraduate students, rather than a limit of $7,000 beyond any pre-existing additional UNSUB loans that the student already was given.

5 2008/2009 TEACH Awarding (36486.25) Incorporated new 3.0a schema in import and export processes for non-TEACH XML data. Added new Schema version parameter field on CODP form and introduced the CODT form for new TEACH grants. Updated text of Comment Codes based on changes Updated processes to store TEACH awarding in the DATE.AWARD file. Updated disbursement code descriptions to include ACG, SMART and TEACH grants. Updated documentation for reject and warning codes for TEACH grants. Added a field for the Agreement To Serve (ATS) override flag to the CODT form. Added new logic in the transmittals subroutines to allow for the transmittals of TEACH grants. Updated the FA Reprocess COD Document (FRCD) form to use the schema parameter on the COD Parameter Definition (CODP) form. Included several bugs and enhancements

6 2008 FA Enhancements (29091.11) Updated the FASA form to allow clients to copy their Communications Management setup related to Financial Aid for future processing years. Provided clients more flexibility in the timeframes options on SAPC in order to produce SAP calculations. Provided the ability to post PELL awards in pennies. Provided detail field from FASI to LEEI form Addressed inappropriate record locking related to fund office files. Also included several bug and enhancements

7 Financial Aid TDClient for Windows (41623.48) This will allow Windows clients the ability to send and receive their data to and from their SAIG mailboxes. In the past, Windows clients had to manually move their data using EDConnect to/from their SAIG mailbox, so this new functionality helps to streamline these clients import and export processes.

8 2009/2010 FAFSA and INAS/PROFILE (39146.33) New 2009/2010 FAFSA forms Preliminary calculations were not included due to the significance of the FAFSA changes. 2009/2010 update needed for processing PROFILE applications and communicating with the College Board INAS calculation dll. Also included other bug and enhancements.

9 Importing Loan Types for Entrance Interviews (42170.07) Created new file (FA.INTERVIEW) to store data for student loan interview data – Loan types added for entrance interviews for Direct loan students – New 3.0b schema will include interview data for TEACH awards (2009/2010 COD Processing) Corrected issue with blank values being created on the FASI form in the FA Decision field Updated TA.MPN.STATUS computed column to evaluate the loan type of the MPN record.

10 2009/2010 ISIR Processing (39148.41) Provides the ability to import 2009/2010 ISIRs Provides the ability to export Correction records to CPS for 2009/2010 processing Enhanced ISIR Import (ISIM) process to permit the active ISIR flag to move more often in certain scenarios Modifications to the IART to include additional information on report to assist in the review of student’s ISIR data Ability to create a SUPP (supplemental) record without having to finish out of each of the ISIR forms. Update the ISIR print processes to include new FAFSA changes.

11 2009 FA Projects 2009/2010 COD Processing (Delivered 3/10/09 39306.07) Critical Updates: – Verification Processing Updates for 2009/2010 (3/19/09 44422.19), – COD.PERSON Batch Merge (CPBM) Maintenance (3/26/09 44911.56), – Two Pell Grants Scheduled Awards Available in an Award Year (April 41971.96)

14 New Items-ECASLA & REAUTHORIZATION New 3.0b Schema introduced for 2009/2010 awarding and beyond (Released with 2009/2010 COD Processing Update) ACG/SMART updates- (Will be released with 2009 FA Additional TEACH Software Update) – Beginning with the 2009/2010 award year a 2 will be accepted as a valid for Citizenship Status Code – Beginning with the 2009-2010 Award Year, Grade Level 5 will be accepted as a valid value for National SMART Grant. Edits 123, 132, and 136 have been updated to include Grade Level 5. 2009/2010 Pell entitlement amount updates-38442.25 (Released with 2009/2010 COD Processing Update) Lifetime Limit on Pell Grant Eligibility added with HEA-41970.63 Two Pell Grant Scheduled Awards Available in an Award Year- 41971.96
