Product/Service It is a tangible object or an intangible service that is mass produced or manufactured on a large scale with a specific volume of units. Price The price is the amount a customer pays for the product or service. Placement/Distribution Place represents the location where a product/service can be purchased. Promotion represents all of the communications that a marketer may use in the marketplace. Promotion has four distinct elements: advertising, public relations, personal selling and sales promotion. Collateral Material Any material describing a product, service and/or company that is used to support sales and marketing efforts. The material can be electronic (such as on a CD-ROM) or printed. (marcommwise.com 2011) Vertical Markets A vertical market (often referred to simply as a "vertical") is a group of similar businesses and customers that engage in trade based on specific and specialized needs. (wikipedia 2011) Direct Marketing Generating and sending general collateral directly to existing and potential customers. Target Marketing Generating and sending specific marketing collateral to targeted people based on a potential need for our services. Productize To modify something to become suitable as a commercial product (wiktionary 2011) Brand Any name, symbol or other identifier used individually or in combination to identify the goods and/or services of a seller and differentiate them, on any tangible or intangible basis, from similar goods and/or services of competitors.
