E- Business also known as Electronic Business is a term used to describe businesses that run on the internet.
An E- business uses internet technologies to improve the profitability or productivity of a business.

3. History of E- Business
Businesses began using websites for marketing shortly after graphical-based web design became available in the early 1990s.
People generally used these websites to provide information about a company such as contact information.
It wasn’t till 1994 where e-business became very popular. Websites started making web transactions with credit cards.

4. E- Business In The 21st Century
Today E- Business is very popular. Many people today use websites to purchase various goods ranging from car parts to videogames and people even order food.
Today there is also many different websites that provide online purchasing.

5. Examples of E- Businesses
Some examples of E-Business websites are Kijiji, Ebay, Amazon, and Netflix. These websites strictly just do online services.Companies that do e- business and have retailer stores are Future Shop, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and many more.

6. Types of E- Business There are 4 different types of E- Businesses
These types are:
Consumer to consumer (C2C)
Business to business (B2B)
Consumer to business (C2B)
And business to consumer (B2C)

7. Consumer To Consumer (C2C)
Consumer to consumer E business means that a consumer would contact a business in search for a suitable customer/consumer.
An example of this type of E business would be Ebay and Kijiji.

8. Business To Business (B2B)
Business to business E businesses use transactions between businesses such as between manufacturers and a wholesalers.
An example of this type of E business is Vistaprint.ca

9. Consumer To Business (C2B)
This type of E Business is a business which consumers offer products and services to companies and the companies pay them.
An example of consumer to business would be Cash For Gold.

10. Business To Consumer (B2C)
Business to consumer retailing is the most popular form out of the four types. This is basically when a business sells a product to a consumer.
An example of a business to consumer website would be Best Buy.com, Microsoft.com, and Wal Mart.

11. The Future of E Business
The future of e business is looking pretty good.
This is because the advancements in technology will forward online shopping and selling.
Also most businesses today are using some form of e business in their companies today.

E-Business is a fast growing market and in this society people are getting lazier and are now doing more shopping online. So E-Business is going to advance for the rest of human civilization.
