8 October is Cyber Security Awareness Month  2014/15 Security Awareness Training Rollout Occurs throughout October 2014 Course has been updated with audio and other new features Rollout for all active employees AND contractors in SAP Goal is 100% agency completion  Why is it so important? End users are our first layer of defense: Each day, hackers target our end users. If a user falls victim, their password can be compromised, identities stolen, or computer systems infected. This is how South Carolina got hacked It’s mandatory: Each year, every employee is required to take course and sign the IT acceptable use Management Directive. It’s critical all employees take the training  To track agency progress or acquire completion reports either contact your Agency LSO coordinator or Erik Avakian at eavakian@pa.gov Cyber Security
