But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 1 Timothy 6:11 Pursue righteousness in actions and attitudes, pursue to be CHRIST-ians (Christ-like)

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight and struggle for righteousness

I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing 1 Timothy 6:13-14 Fight and struggle for righteousness

1. If you want to be a Christian and NOT embarrassment or disappointment to God(who matters the most) we must be willing to do what it takes. Conclusion

2. Christians who do not behave like Christians are not the examples the Church needs or God. Christians who act like Christians do not act like the world. Conclusion

This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. Conclusion

But you have not so learned Christ, Ephesians 4:17-20 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Ephesians 6:1 Conclusion

3. You will be rewarded for being a proper Christian. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself. - Philippians 3:20-21 Conclusion
