3 * Resume (or CV - curriculum vitae) is a detailed characteristic of your personality (personal details), received education and skills, employment history, interests or pastimes and even referees.

4 * The purpose of the article is to prevent various mistakes and inaccuracies connected with the structural aspect of writing a resume\CV. * The tasks of the article: - Analyze the structural aspects of writing resume - Show various mistakes and inaccuracies connected with the structural aspect of writing a resume\CV.

5 DOs DON’Ts Keep your CV/résumé brief and concise: there is no need to go into a lot of details about your education or employment history. Go into too much detail: employers are too busy to read rambling or unfocused CVs/résumés. Try to keep your CV/résumé to one or two sides of A4 paper. Leave gaps in your employment history: add a sentence or two explaining any periods that are not accounted for.

6 DOsDON’Ts Use brief, informative sentences, short paragraphs, and Standard English Use too many different fonts or typefaces: keep to one or two that are clear and easy to read. When describing your responsibilities and achievements, start each point with an action verb (such as teaching, leading, developing): this creates more impact. 9 * It is also important to mark a personal summary - introduces your personality, what skills and qualities you have, and why you would be an asset to the company. * It also provides a good opportunity to tailor your application to the requirements of a job before you move on to the details of your experience or qualifications.

11 * Require information about your previous completed education (diploma and\degree you received). * Different certificates in success in knowledge English as foreign language (TOEFL, Pearson Test of English, IELTS e t. c.) can be a brilliant benefit for you to be suitable for future work * There can be also includes various certificates of professional development and excellence or equivalent qualifications

14 * Give the names and contact details of people who would be willing to give you a reference. * Ideally, one person should be from your current place of work, while the second could be from a previous employer. * Always make sure that the people you have in mind are happy to provide a reference for you before you add their names to your CV/résumé

15 * CV/résumé is an essential step to your future successful career as this is the first thing to know about you for your future employer – like a first impression that can be never experienced twice. This is a responsible task which is required to be accurate and follow the rules of written English.
