6 WG’s tasks  To identify conferences around the world related to physics (and general science), education and outreach.  To design a standard "IPPOG conference" package (displays, flyers, inter actives).  To draft and submit individual proposals for participation to the chosen conferences.  To organize the follow-up of these conferences.  To investigate possibilities for funding and for future joint sessions at conferences with IPPOG partners and associates.  To share new ideas and information with IPPOG members. 6 B. 7 How we work together  Used SharePoint, made e-group  Designated group facilitator and deputy for 6 months*  Facilitator proposes specific targets each meeting  Held meeting via EVO (first: 7 th February 2012) *Pedro and Marge will serve at least until the meeting in Innsbruck 7 B. 8 1st meeting outcome 1. Submit conferences lists and proposals in 3 categories:  international HEP,  education,  local/national events. 2. Prepare standard IPPOG conference package 3. Distribute talks among IPPOG members 4. 9 9 SEED PROJECT 1 To organize IPPOG's participation in the upcoming World Conference on Physics Education (WCPE) scheduled for 1-6 July 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey. SEED PROJECT 2 To organize IPPOG's participation in the upcoming Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF) scheduled for 11-15 July 2012 in Dublin, Ireland. ? WG’s next steps B.
