3 Leadership: Action & Activity Plan 2014 ACTIVITYACTIONCOSTINGS (Est) COMPLETION DATE RESPONSIBILITY Establish baseline historic data (last 3-5 years) information and reporting templates across the Oceania region understanding the number of women who hold roles in the areas of: Governance – NSO + one tier down as appropriate Management - NSO + one tier down as appropriate Coaching – National + one tier down across all age groups Team Management – National + one tier down as appropriate Officiating – International, Oceania, National Event roles Establish baseline data information across the Oceania region understanding the number of women who attend qualifications / courses in: Coaching – Shuttletime Teacher, Tutor and Trainer, BWF Level One, Two and Three Apply to BWF contestable fund to employ a data co-ordinator to facilitate the process Employ data co-ordinator Complete data collection $1500 - $2,00030 November 2014 COO Oceania Project Manager Identify key areas of priority from the baseline data Hold a follow up Women in Oceania group meeting to agree priorities and next steps February 2015 Oceania Champs Full Committee Identify personnel and activities to facilitate learning opportunities and engagement Agree individuals suitable for development and other organisations who provide programmes to engage for the provision of development – from each member February 2015 Oceania Champs Full Committee

Shuttletime teacher training targets grassroots community and high percentage of women Link to Pacific needs e.g. SAFE because to grow leaders we need women who feel confident to voice their opinions Following completion of baseline data Continue Shuttletime training in the Pacific where there is large percentage of female teachers.
