5. Batch/Multiple-Dominos Pizza When I used to work for Domino’s, the setup was much different each day and time based on the high volume of orders received. The batch sizes would change and would be more significant around dinner time. Obviously more employees were scheduled at this time along with more drivers to meet the demand so the company would not fall behind with orders.

6. Assembly Line The assembly line was created so that employees could concentrate on one particular task with each pizza and allow for operations to run much smoother. The fact that this was setup at different station such as dough, sauce, cheese, toppings and oven made it easy to get pizzas into the oven quicker and out the door. This obviously only took place with the correct number of employees and when orders were coming in at a heavy volume. This would also include the continuous flow approach as well.
